Tonight, I am more hopeful than I have been in a long time about the direction of our country. I cannot wait to get to work as part of an historic Democratic majority in Congress, with Hakeem Jeffries as our Speaker — the first time in more than 150 years that a New Yorker has held the gavel!
An incredible day talking to voters all across NY-12, from Hell’s Kitchen, to the Upper East Side, to East Midtown Plaza. Early voting runs through Sunday!
It’s been great to be all across NY-12 speaking with voters! Polls are open until 8pm this evening, from 10am to 8pm on Wednesday, from 8am to 4pm on Thursday, and from 9am to 5pm on Friday. Get out and vote early this week!
It’s a beautiful day to knock on doors for Cait Conley! Today is the last day to register to vote in New York. Get out there, and vote early!

Another beautiful morning talking to voters in NY-12! Great to be joined by Vanessa Aronson and the Lexington Democrats to get out the vote.
Thanks, AM Lasher and volunteers from Ansche Chesed & JCC Manhattan for giving your time and the gift of books to the P.S. 145 The Bloomingdale School community!
The community has been transformed by this self-started & sustained reading initiative. It's a joy to see kids grabbing a book every day!
An incredible morning announcing funding for the P.S. 145 library, a collaboration between the school and Ansche Chesed synagogue. Now we’re filling the shelves with even more stories for students to fall in love with. Thank you to the community members and volunteers who made this happen!
I am honored to be endorsed by @rwdsu.bsky.social and ready to fight for their hardworking members in Congress!
Great to be campaigning this morning with @keithpowersnyc.bsky.social, @tildendemocrats.bsky.social, and @eridnyc.bsky.social! Love hearing from the voters of NY-12. We need a big turnout for Kathy Hochul and Dems up and down the ballot. Early voting starts on Saturday!
Proud to have the endorsement of End Citizens United, a group dedicated to getting dark money out of our politics.
I introduced legislation to end corporate political spending in New York, and I’m ready to take that fight to Washington.
🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨 We’re proud to endorse #UnrigWashington member @micahlasher.bsky.social for #NY12. Assemblymember Lasher has made lowering costs and fighting corruption top priorities for his campaign. We look forward to helping him win.
We are here in Foley Square demanding the immediate release of Oscar Belgal, and ICE out of New York and abolished. Cruelty cannot be our national ethos.
This afternoon, ICE agents shot someone on Marble Hill Avenue, right here in Manhattan. My heart is with the person who was shot and their family, and with a neighborhood that has been living in fear. An agency built on cruelty and thuggery has no place in New York City or anywhere.

I love it when a treasured spot returns! I’m a little late to the party, but was glad to have a welcome-back lunch this week at the Carnegie Deli.
This was Kfar Aza as I witnessed it, twelve days after the pogroms of October 7, 2023, the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Jane Doe did an incredibly brave thing by coming forward. Cornell University and District Attorney Van Houten failed to act, and in doing so they failed her. They also broke the public’s trust in institutions meant to protect us.
What an honor to write about the legacy of Jerry Nadler for @cityandstateny.bsky.social 20th anniversary. @nadler.house.gov is a principled, fearless leader, and his influence will carry on long after he leaves Congress, not just because of the laws he has passed but the politics he has practiced.

His successor in Congress, Micah Lasher, writes about Nadler’s lasting impact on New York and the nation.
I was so glad to spend the day speaking to neighbors and voters with two of our great democratic clubs, the Hell’s Kitchen Democrats and the Lexington Democrats. It’s a beautiful day in NY-12!
